Description: Mpumalanga means place of the rising sun and sun is certainly rising over New Govardhana (ISKCON Mpumalanga) and the home of Sri Krishna and Balarama – ever present, casting their merciful glance, overseeing the activities in ISKCON Mpumalanga. Based in Ermelo under the management of Prabhupada Priya das the reach of New Govardhana extends far and wide ensuring that Krishna Consciousness is spread throughout the region – Bethal, Trichardt, Kinross, Secunda, Witbank, Nelspruit, Middelburg, Standerton and Piet Retief where regular namahatta programs and Food for Life programs are held. A famous sight in Ermelo has become the Ratha Yatra street procession, which has been held annually for some years now. In the pipeline are plans for a Goshala to facilitate cow protection.

Description: ISKCON Pretoria was formally registered in 1997. Since Pretoria was seen to be a conservative city, the strategy was to target the young students of the University of Pretoria with the hope that they would be more open-minded towards Krishna Conscious philosophy. The focus was therefore more on philosophy, harinama, and prasadam and less on deity worship. Today the center hosts a Sunday Love Feast Program and supports the university Bhakti Yoga Society (BYS). The vision is to expand the center to be a training center for the spiritual and material development of young Africans.
