Description: El Salvador has Srila Prabhupada´s mercy since 1975 when MahajaraMahabhagavat met the Hare Krishna Movement. Establishedofficially has a temple in 1978, devotees started to make Harinamas and Sankirtana in the capital city of El Salvador, San Salvador.
In 1980, the deities of Sri Sri Gaura Nitai came to El Salvador on Janmastami, a year later Srila Prabhupada´smurti arrived.
Also, in this period of time, devotees in El Salvador suffer a civil war from 1980 to 1992. But, the sincerely devotion to Caitanya Mahaprabhu and Srila Prabhupada kept them in the worship to His holy feet.
For many years the temple of El Salvador has been moved to one place to another. At the begin for the pressure of the civil war and after it to not account an own property. Actually the temple is located in Santa Tecla, La Libertad, and it has regular activities for all interesting people who want to know about Krishna or God Himself.
